Overview
Winchester Community Music School serves students of all ages, from toddlers to seniors, and offers ensembles, private lessons, and music therapy. WCMS hired Charles River Web to migrate their proprietary system to Drupal and organize the site.
The previous system lacked an advanced content management system, so staff needed to involve an expensive development firm when making trivial updates to site content. In addition, the site lacked modern features such as a responsive design and was unusable on mobile devices.
We worked with WCMS to identify what they liked about the old site while jettisoning the rest. We kept their basic look and feel while making key usability improvements throughout. All content is now served using Drupal content types. While their previous developers kept busy with expensive routing updates long after they developed the site, we barely hear from them these days, as their staff is able to add programs, events, and other site content without us.
We're still there for them when they need a new feature or when new staff members get stuck. Most recently, we began working with them to integrate their site with an ASAP based class registration system and Authorize.net payments.
